Eleven-year-old Olly Pearson has set his sights on getting King Charles to rock out after his sensational performance on Britain’s Got Talent.

The young guitarist stole the show in his audition, impressing the judges with his electrifying skills and earning Amanda Holden’s coveted Golden Buzzer. With his first major gig under his belt, Olly is dreaming even bigger—hoping to play for royalty and one day headline Wembley Stadium in front of 90,000 fans.

“I heard the King likes rock music,” Olly told The Mirror. “I think I could get him to rock out! Performing for him at the Royal Variety Show would be amazing. I saw AC/DC at Wembley last year, and I’d love to do the same one day.”

A Rockstar in the Making

Reflecting on his BGT performance, Olly admitted he had a few nerves before stepping on stage, but once he started shredding to AC/DC, Van Halen, and Queen, he felt unstoppable.

“Seeing rows and rows of people watching me—it was just incredible,” he said. “I felt like I was on top of the world! Every time I perform, I just want to do it for even more people.”

Olly’s passion for music started at age seven when he picked up a guitar and began jamming with his grandad, Lee, over Zoom during the COVID lockdown.

“I always had my guitar around, and one day, Olly just decided he wanted to play,” Lee shared. “From the start, you could see the talent was there.”
